MoveClock — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the MoveClock mobile app (com.mixlumina.moveclock),
published by Mixlumina. It explains what the app collects, why, and what choices
you have.
In short
MoveClock has no accounts and no sign-in. Your clock settings stay on your device. The app does, however, show ads and uses analytics and crash reporting, and those services collect data of their own. The sections below describe exactly what that means.
What stays on your device
Your time-control presets, sound and vibration preferences, language choice and consent answers are stored in your device’s local storage. They are not uploaded to us and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may process your device’s advertising identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, and information about ad interactions.
- On first launch you are asked for a consent choice. Where required (EEA, UK and similar regions) you can choose non-personalised ads, which limits the data used for ad targeting.
- On iOS, the system’s App Tracking Transparency prompt asks separately before any cross-app tracking; if you decline, tracking does not take place.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time from your device settings.
Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner sites and apps.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — which screens are opened, which time controls are popular, whether a feature is ever found. These events are tied to a randomly generated app instance identifier, not to your name, email or phone number.
Crash reporting
We use Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes, a report is sent containing the error, the device model, the operating system version and the state of the app at that moment. We use it only to fix the crash.
Permissions
MoveClock requests a single Android permission: vibration, used for haptic feedback when a clock is tapped. It asks for no contacts, no location, no storage and no microphone access.
Children
MoveClock is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Data we never collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos or files. We do not sell data to anyone.
Your choices
- Change or withdraw your ad consent from within the app.
- Reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove everything stored locally.
- Write to us through the contact form to ask what is held about you, or to ask for deletion.
